Blog Action Day ‘09
October 13, 2009 @ 3:42PM
In two days, bloggers worldwide will turn their attention to climate change for this year’s Blog Action Day. Consequence is proud to be a partner in what will be (not exaggerating) the largest social change event in the history of the web.
On Thursday, October 15th, over 6,300 blogs (and counting) — representing 130 countries and countless topics — will break from their normal schedule to focus on climate change, how it impacts their lives and their readers, and what we can do about it. The goal of Blog Action Day is to rally thousands of voices and “mobilize millions of people around expressing support for finding a sustainable solution to the climate crisis.”
The Consequence Blog will be joining in on the action, highlighting the importance of young people in the climate debate, featuring youth climate action across the country, and letting everyone know how they can get more involved.
It’s not too late to register your blog and join the discussion. Every voice counts.
