Several things are happening today, the most of which is the kickoff of the Hip Hop Caucus Clean Energy Now Bus Tour.
The tour starts in New Orleans, a city that has enjoyed quite the party in the past few weeks, then heads to Arkansas, Missouri, Indianapolis and D.C. Actress and philanthropist Gloria Reuben will join the tour and she previewed it yesterday.
The Conservative Political Action Conference starts today in Washington, meaning there will for sure be some incredibly uninformed, false statements made about climate change.

- The state climatologist of Texas is at odds with a decision by the state to challenge the EPA’s attempts to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.
- A top UN climate change office will resign later this year for a new position.
- Senator Lindsey Graham is floating legislation heavy on clean coal and nuclear power, something he has been working on since before his partnership with Sens. John Kerry and Joe Lieberman. As I wrote yesterday, this is no surprise and could be a peek into what might be in a comprehensive bill.
